Thanks for using Router Limits! We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it. In this policy we describe how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website, software, services, or Router Limits enabled hardware. In this policy, reference to “we,” “us,” and “our” means Router Limits LLC, its affiliates, and our contracted compliant secure third parties.

Anonymous Access to our Website
When you browse our website, we will not collect or log any private information about you unless you voluntarily provide such information (e.g., registering, placing an order, logging in, signing up for promotions or notifications, or contacting us).

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

What Information We Collect
When you subscribe to our services, we collect information about you (the account holder), such as, your name, password, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information (“Personal Information”). We also collect Personal Information from you if you contact us via email, or volunteer information through a survey, general inquiry, promotion, or support. We also collect non-personal information such as domains visited through our service, the IP address of your Router Limits enabled hardware, the personalized name you associate to devices, and MAC address and manufacturer of connected devices and their online status.

You have responsibility to notify guests or new users of your network about this Privacy Policy.

Why We Collect Your Personal Information
We use your Personal Information for account setup, support, notifications, educational email to you, and order processing. We also display and report your data to you as part of our services. The Personal Information collected is not shared with or disclosed to other organizations for commercial purposes without your consent. We disclose your name to the person who referred you, when you order our services using their unique referral link.

The credit card information collected is used strictly for ordering purposes and subscription services. We utilize Stripe, Inc., a secure and PCI compliant third party to process, authorize, and maintain credit card information. Credit Card Information. If you do not notify us of updates to your payment method, to avoid interruption of your service, we may participate in programs supported by your card provider to try to update your payment information, and you authorize us to continue billing your account with the updated information that we obtain.

The non-personal information we collect any time your Router Limits enabled hardware is connected to our service, is used to provide filtering services, support, customization, reporting, and notifications to you. Router Limits may also anonymize this data and use it to improve our services, products, and offerings, as well as those of our partners.

In some instances, we may offer a service or feature in partnership with a third party which relates to the services provided to you by Router Limits. If you give your consent to a third party, information in connection with such a service or feature may be shared between us and that third party. We will require the third to have an agreement in place with you before allowing such an exchange of your information. Although our treatment of your information is governed by our privacy policy, the third party’s treatment of your information will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy.

We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information if required by law and/or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

Commercial server facilities are used, to store your Personal Information, that take security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of Personal Information that we have collected from you. However, even though protections are in place, we cannot guarantee against the occurrence of hardware failure, unauthorized intrusion, or other technical problems. We will take every action within our power to protect from these occurrences. In the event of a data security breach, we will notify you using your accounts primary email address. If your preferred contact method has been compromised, we will notify you through alternative methods according to your account.

Use of Cookies and Other Technology
We use cookies in a manner concurrent with industry standards. Cookies are used for improving your experience and storing session information. Third parties may also use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information to provide measurement services and target ads. Our services and other functionality will not degrade, change, or be disabled even if our systems receive a “do not track” signal from your browser.

Collection of Children’s Personal Information
We do not knowingly collect or store any Personal Information from children under the age of 13 years old.
